Dear Resident, Stevenage Neighbourhood Policing Team will be attending a Community Involvement Day at Stevenage Fire Station on Saturday 6th September. Stevenage Fire Station SEN Quiet Open DaySEN safe opportunity for the whole family to experience a Fire Station Open Day but in a sensory sensitive environment. The Fire Appliances will be available to look around and sit on, we will have our Aerial Ladder platform performing a Teddy bear parachute drop for those of you who would like to take part, so please bring your Teddy bears with you! We will perform this from a lower height. The Wellbeing garden will be open, to offer a quiet outdoor space (Please note children will need to be accompanied in the garden). There will also be an indoor breakout area with quiet activities. The Cadets will be onsite to offer an opportunity for some target shooting with the Firefighting Hoses. So join us at the Fire Station for a great day & hopefully everyone can feel safe, happy and included.
